+ Bla bla Introduction + + ## History + + A good hundred years after the first lulls of the Great Upheaval, around the year 235 of the First Era, an ambitious young man at the head of an imposing army built up over the years, dragging in his wake hundreds of families seeking his protection, settled by the sea. He had a castle built, named the region Kintzheim, then proclaimed himself Emperor under the name Monarkan I. The Empire was born. + + Over the following years, Monarkan expanded his power. The fiefs of Kerouze, Walder and Speklin came into being. Pushing ever farther west, he created the first duchies of Kayserberg and Koenigsbourg. He offered protection to anyone willing to settle on his lands in exchange for a tithe on their harvests and labor. He later introduced the silver solar, which soon spread and became an endless source of conflict. + + The son of Monarkan I, Notger, Duke of Koenigsbourg, was far more power hungry than his father. He dreamed of an Empire that would stretch from one ocean to the other. Upon his father’s death, in the year 297, Notger was named Emperor. He quickly decided to conquer the entire north, knowing that sooner or later he would enter dark elf territory. + + From conquest to conquest, he reached the lands of the great Queen Malika. He settled there by building a fortress and proclaimed the creation of the province of Notger. The years passed, and he turned the province of Notger into a true stronghold from which he intended to launch his final assault to conquer the dark elf kingdom. The little resistance he had faced from them had made him confident, but this showed a grave misunderstanding of the dark elves. + + On the eve of winter in the year 310, Queen Malika declared war on the Empire. It was a war that dragged on for two centuries. Emperor Notger died during its very first year, in the legendary Battle of the Thousand Pikes. The province of Notger was wiped off the map. + + Two other Emperors followed, Irasse I and Irasse II, but not a single square inch of dark elf land was ever reconquered. The war ended in the summer of 512, leaving the Empire drained of its wealth. + + Emperor Polignac was the man who put an end to this senseless conflict. He devoted all his energy to restoring the Empire and enriching it once more, this time expanding toward the southwest. There, they encountered the Blue Men, a very ancient civilization that lived from fishing and hunting on lands extremely rich in mineral resources, unfortunately for them. Slavery was very quickly established. The Blue Men were hunted down and sent to the diamond mines of Ekengrad. + + Several decades passed, during which the Empire became all powerful, stretching from north to south and from east to west. Very powerful provinces such as Haldorf and Berkwald secured its power from one end of its borders to the other. Tensions were rising, especially in the southern provinces, such as Andore and Arganne, which increasingly opposed the enslavement of the Blue Men as well as the brutal methods the Emperor used to settle every matter. + + In the year 640, Emperor Gar declared war on the kingdom of Irendille, the land of the wood elves, which had always peacefully coexisted with the Empire. But greed prevailed over all reason. It was the worst political decision the Empire ever made. In the already tense context of the southern provinces, and with the endless wars waged by the Empire, the population rose up during what is now called the Great Revolt of 640. + + The southern provinces, such as Andore, Claircastel and Arganne, as well as Ozame, allied themselves with the wood elves. The Emperor gathered all the Lords of the North who had remained loyal, along with all his duchies. An army unlike any seen since the Battle of the Thousand Pikes marched on the province of Andore. The rebel provinces organized themselves to defend their borders and, above all, their survival. A merciless fratricidal war followed, and thousands of men lost their lives. + + The Empire won the war. Rebel lords such as Waleffe the Just, Lord of Andore, Jean de Colmont, Lord of Claircastel, and Morialmé, Lord of Arganne, were executed on the great square of Kintzheim, capital of the Empire. These executions set the Empire on a path of no return regarding its unity. + + Emperor Gar died on January 2 in the year 680. He was succeeded by his son, Gar I, who was only two years old. + + In the year 712, an important decision was made that changed the geography of the Empire forever. The province of Andore became the Kingdom of Andore, supported by the provinces of Claircastel, Boisfort and Loren. Arganne also became an independent kingdom, as did Ozame. The Empire had just lost the entire south. The scars left by the rebellion of 640 had been too deep. Since then, the Kingdoms have coexisted with the Empire, which managed to maintain a tax upon them as the price of their peace. + + Emperor Gar III ruled as absolute master over the Empire until the year 1004, when he was assassinated under murky circumstances. Following the political disorder surrounding his disappearance, disorder that mainly struck the province of Kintzheim, the young Geairel Barritz, designated heir, was recognized by the Imperial High Court as the legitimate successor to Gar III. + + The High Court was abolished at the Imperial Council of the summer of 1005 following the proven corruption of most of its members. After this, a new Emperor was elected by the members of the Imperial Council: Lord Gorghor Baey of Ghoria. + + ## Geography + + **Province de Dalabheim** + **Province d' Ékengrad** + **Province de Ghoria** + **Province de Kintzheim** + **Province de Mariembourg** + **Province de Reikswart** + **Province de Reikwald** + + ## Notables + + Bah oui + + ## Gouvernment & Politics + dsa + + ## Culture + dsa + + ## Guilds + + Actias + Armateurs de Ranvier + Bélier + Cavaliers du Bouc + Cirque Sans Nom + Clan du Sanglier + Colibrille + Debeauchamps + Doigts Cassés + Dragoniers + Été Invincible + Fils et Filles de Polignac + Fléau + Gorghor Baey + Haute Garde + Hellequin + Hibou d'Argent + Hydre + Kabbale + Kosaques d'Oulianov + Lambertrand + Phratrie des Malandrins + Ragnarok + Realms Embassy + Rédemption + Scions of Leviathan + Silfrmans + Trésorerie Impériale + Valraven + Von Couleng Bark + Von Shlaffenmark + + +
