Ferrata Fidelis

The guild Ferrata Fidelis took shape during the Grand Battle of the year 1016, within the ambitious mind of the one then known as Gilles Marcus Flaminius, now known as [[jinx-flaminius|Jinx Flaminius]]. What began as an idea, a fierce desire to build something greater, was officially consecrated at the Bal Pourpre of the year 1017. It was there that Ferrata Fidelis ceased to be a simple project carried by the pride of a single soul, and became the story of a guild.

In its origins, Ferrata Fidelis was born from a deep refusal of stagnation. Its founder and its members had known other guilds and nations. Yet within them, they found neither the flame of conquest, nor the thirst for greatness, nor that almost brutal will to rise above the common masses. In their eyes, too many guilds were content merely to exist, without ever truly seeking to leave their mark upon the world.

[[jinx-flaminius|Jinx]] dreamed of a guild forged in ambition. A guild that would fear neither political games, nor arcane mysteries, nor conflicts of influence. Ferrata Fidelis was therefore envisioned as a house capable of climbing the ranks of this plane, not by chance, but by will.

Its very name carried this vision. *Ferrata*, the iron, the strength, the will that does not easily bend. *Fidelis*, loyalty.

Together, these words formed the ideal of the guild: a loyalty of iron, an unshakable devotion to its own ambition.
