Les cubes d'orichalque

This is the current version.  ·  Current version  ·  History

Also known as “bridium cubes” or “Zabar cubes,” orichalcum cubes are sought after by mages throughout the world. Remarkable catalysts for all forms of magic, orichalcum cubes draw upon ancient powers to increase the strength of the mages who use them, allowing them to accomplish extraordinary arcane feats.

While some cubes bear complex runes on every face, others display only a few, and some have none at all. Although the origin and meaning of these runes remain unknown, there appears to be a connection between them and the powers granted by each cube.

What is orichalcum, and what are its properties?

Orichalcum is a mythical metal that naturally appears in the form of a cube. Harder than diamond, it is believed to be one of the building blocks from which our world was created.

Also known as “bridium,” since numerous fragments were discovered among the ruins of the City of Bridier, this metal allows its wielder to draw upon primordial supernatural forces. Those who know how to use it can create teleportation circles across space, as well as through time.

According to some theories, orichalcum cubes are fragments of Keyn’Heim, the Guardian of Creation.
