The Rule of "What You See is What You Get"

If you're wearing it, carrying it, saying it, playing it, it's real. If it doesn't exist physically, it doesn't exist in the game.

Your Actions Speak Louder Than Lore

At Bicolline, most people don't really care if your character is the long lost heir to some imaginary kingdom or if you wrote a ten page backstory about how you were raised by magical wolves. What people do care about is what you actually do in the game. The legend of your character isn't built in the margins of a PDF, it's carved out in the mud and memories of the battlefield, tavern, quests and meetings. The more you show up, take part, and make moments, the more your name carries weight, no embellishments needed.

Keep It Grounded

Try not to invent stories that are too over-the-top. If you show up saying you killed kings or drank with gods, people will look at you weird. Bicolline is a shared world, and while creativity is welcome, being believable and grounded makes it easier for others to interact with you. Build your legend through your actions in the game, not just your words.

The Virtual Side Matters Too

While there's no dice rolling on the field, the online platform is still a major part of the game. Politics, land, titles, and magic are all tracked there. It's the bridge between events.

TL;DR (Too long didn't read)

  • No stat sheets. Your character is what you roleplay and what your profile says
  • Keep your background light and flexible
  • Retcon your story as needed
  • If it's not visible on the field, it's not real
  • Use the platform to shape your in-game presence
